Educator Recognition Program
Dear Students and Families,
Have you worked with an educator who has truly changed how you think about learning, or has had a significant impact on you as a learner? Have you ever taken the time to let that educator know what his or her dedication means to you? The WCATY Excellent Educator Recognition gives WCATY students an opportunity to recognize the outstanding educators they have worked with. This can be a teacher, administrator, counselor, or program coordinator in your school or in your WCATY coursework.
Each year at this time, we ask WCATY students to nominate an outstanding educator for recognition. This is your opportunity to acknowledge a teacher, administrator, counselor, or program coordinator who has made a positive difference in your life. These educators receive a certificate and acknowledgment for their achievements. Their schools and supervisors will also be notified of this special nomination. Your local newspaper will be contacted to announce this honor and recognition.
Please take the time to complete the nomination form and return it to us no later than March 7, 2008.
